Art. 1 – A committee called COMFAM is established. It is the Family and Friends Committee of the victims of alleged medical malpractice at the A.O. Villa Sofia Cervello di Palermo”, regulated by articles 39 and following of the Civil Code and by this Statute.
Art.2 – The Committee is non-profit and its purpose is:
– Highlight to public opinion through any form and with the use of any mass communication tool the cases of episodes of alleged poor health management that have occurred and which may still occur within the hospital indicated in article 1 of this statute .
– Give support and closeness to people who find themselves in the situation of losing a family member due to alleged poor health management within the family member.
– Keep the memory of the victim alive on the anniversaries of the unfortunate event by remembering his biography and the circumstances that caused his death, communicating to those interested the events and commemorations possibly organized by the family members.
– Also organize celebrations, anniversaries, awareness campaigns, conferences, studies and research and anything else that may be useful so that the phenomenon can become extinct. Always in compliance with the provisions of the law and this Statute.
